Fireworks - Don’t Get Burned 2025 Updates

Brought to you by DFPC

Are you familiar with the responsibilities of state and local fire agencies in the regulation of commercial fireworks operations and consumer fireworks use in Colorado? In this training course, "Fireworks: Don't Get Burned", we will discuss how to safely manage commercial and consumer fireworks use in our state. Training will cover which codes and regulations are tied to fireworks and how to apply them during licensing, permitting, inspections and enforcement. Finally, resources provided by the Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control will be shared to assist our partners in their efforts to make fireworks safer this season. This includes Bucket Brigade Program resources. 2025 Updates include more detail on the plan review and inspection requirements for commercial fireworks operations (retail, display and pyrotechnic) and best practices based on the experiences of industry professionals. ICC CEUs will be provided. Registration will be on a first come, first serve basis. Please register early to guarantee your seat.
