Training: Tents and Events (10:00 - 11:30)
The presentation will cover many aspects related to hazards around special events, both large and small. We will discuss temporary structures (tents, inflatables, states, special amusement rides, etc.), food trucks, crowd control and operational decision making. We will also discuss all the stakeholders in events, inspections of various types of hazards, and who is responsible for what.

Justin Daniels works as an Application Specialist at the Knox Company after 23 years in public safety, including Fire Marshal at the University of Oklahoma responsible for fire prevention, fire investigation, emergency management and running the emergency operations center. Justin was also served as President of the Center for Campus Fire Safety for 6 years, which is a national non-profit of campus fire prevention professionals at colleges and universities all over the U.S. and Canada.
