Colorado Fire Sprinkler Coalition Meeting

I have invited Chase Browning, Battalion Chief/Fire Marshal of Medford Oregon to be a guest speaker.  Chase will talk to us about Annex B from NFPA 13D 2022 edition.  Please look over that prior to the meeting.  Chase is a principle member of NFPA 13D and was on the Task Group who wrote Annex B.  Specifically I have asked Chase to talk/present (between 30 and 45 minutes) on water supplies and residential water meters.  The other notable fact about Chase is, before his time as a code official he came from the sprinkler industry (literally grew up in it with a family business) so he has a unique perspective and the ability to see and understand both side of the coin.

The Colorado Fire Sprinkler Coalition (website link) is dedicated to promoting the installation of fire sprinklers in future generations of homes. The Coalition is a resource for information about home fire sprinklers and, through a cooperative effort with stakeholders, works to identify and overcome barriers to the acceptance of sprinklers as a critical component of home fire safety.
