Presentation: The NEC for FPEs
Topics to include:
- When the NEC requires fire rated room separation
- Instances where NEC prohibit (sprinkler) water pipes from running over certain equipment
- Instances where NEC requires egress accommodations (doors swinging out, panic hardware)
- Classified electric equipment (Class I Div 1, C1D2, etc.)
- Different types of fire alarm cabling and what these abbreviations means (THHN, FPLP, FPLR, CI, etc)
