PRESENTATION: Colorado Division of Oil and Public Safety
The Division of Oil and Public Safety (OPS) within the Department of Labor and Employment regulates the storage, dispensing and quality of refined fuel products, the installation, operation, and maintenance of conveyances (elevators and escalators), boilers and amusement rides, and the storage and use of high explosives. OPS will discuss the general requirements of these programs, what types of devices are included and excluded in regulations, the general process of device inspection and how to determine if a device has been inspected for safe operation.
